Designing the Australian Smart Home

This course provides architects with the knowledge and tools they need to integrate smart home technology into their designs. As potential homeowners now expect technology to be included in new builds, architects need to know where to turn for appropriate solutions. Using a CEDIA member as an integrator can reduce complexity and increase functionality while maintaining aesthetics. By the end of the course, attendees will know how to engage a qualified home technology integrator early in the process, recognise when an integrator is required, and leverage smart home technology into their designs without compromising aesthetics. They will also understand why smart home technology should not be left to other tradespeople.
