EASY chair by Alona Klaro

Alona is a sculptor, interior architect, and product designer. She draws on her range of unique skills and outlook to create products that foresee a requirement, not currently being met, where design intent captures not only object’s visual language, but the process and locality of manufacture, materials, supply chain, user experience and end of life. Alona’s studio is looking to bring a “Slow fashion” philosophy and apply it to commercial interior products, to reduce landfill and support local manufacturing.

Manufactured in New South Wales, the EASY chair composition is MDF structure complete with webbing to seat and back, oak dowel legs that can be stained to preference, commercial grade foam upholstered to Febrik Uniform Melange, Knoll Classic Boucle or Camira Blazer range. All shapes are readily available foam sections so no need to mass produce moulded foam parts.
