This timber and iridescent glass table series explores a unique three piece join between a fluid leg form and a disc shape upper structure. This visible design detail highlights the beauty of three different pieces of timber, bringing together three different grain directions.
This slip cast sculpture has been inspired by creative Clement Meadmore. The single geometric form has been manipulated in an extremely fluid way creating an evocative visual that may be interpreted as the lower half of the female form. I hope to further develop this concept into a table lamp.
