The Manta light is a pendant light intended more for ambiance than actual illumination. Changing the front E27 type lightbulb gives the chance to alter its mood in the room. Having a manta shape it would look good to be hung in a cluster, all diving with direction.
The Manta light is made from 6mm Birch plywood and commercially available bulbs and bulb sockets, it would come with thin wires for hanging.
Mac Nordman studied Industrial Design at University of Newcastle and has since worked in the movie, theatre, tv and exhibition and events industries mostly as a props maker sculptor or maker of furniture and sett items.
