Bolaji Teniola is an emerging interdisciplinary furniture and industrial designer. Bolaji also draws on his experience working for furniture design studios in the Netherlands and Indonesia. ‘Timber Shaving Vessels’ are an exercise in upcycling in producing objects that change the perceived value of timber offcuts. Inspired by the manufacturing techniques of the Akari lamps and the papier-mâché process, timber shavings are transformed into vessels using a homemade organic adhesive and found objects acting as moulds.
