Can you give us a brief introduction to your brand?

Fermob is a French brand, European leader in the manufacturing and distribution of outdoor furniture. Our expertise: metal and colours.

Our brand is above all a concept, a winning recipe combining furniture, lighting products and accessories to bring happiness, design and conviviality to all spaces!

Our head office and factories are in France, but our products can be spotted in more than 60 countries around the world, thanks to a network of +700 resellers and numerous projects! You will find them in public places, museums, hotels, universities, offices, and many more.

What differentiates your brand from other competitors in the market?

Fermob has an unequivocal quest for the Art de Vivre, for fluidity, and above all, an experience of happiness that we nurture with colour and design, our steadfast pillars.

We are the inventor of colour in the garden. Way back when garden furniture could only be found in two colours (green and white), we broke with tradition in 1996, innovating with the market’s first bright, inspiring colours. Over the years, we have gradually extended our range of colours with new exclusive shades, introducing different tones and finishes and using an eco-responsible zero waste powder-coating process with 100% polyester powder paints, making them extremely durable and long lasting. Our colour chart is currently composed of 25 bright, contemporary, punchy or traditional metal colours, which makes it the broadest range of colours on the indoor & outdoor furniture market! What can our visitors expect to see and experience on your stand at Design Show Australia?

They will get to immerse themselves into the Fermob universe, discover the new products and colours of the year and have inspiring conversations with people from the Fermob team who are flying from France for the event.

Are there any exciting trends that you are seeing in the world of design this year?

Over the years, we have consistently ventured into new territories – from gardens to homes, and all the way to professional spaces. This direction was a logical step, given the prevailing interior design trend of creating welcoming and laid-back environments reminiscent of home, for hotels, restaurants, public spaces, and offices. Fermob therefore aligns with the trend towards hybrid spaces, accommodating multiple uses and the need for modularity.

On another note, and in an effort to create harmony between indoor and outdoor spaces, we have naturally expanded our horizons indoors.

Are there any product launches we can expect to see at Design Show Australia this June?

First of all, you will get to see our three new delicious colours, which have been launched in 2024, bringing a gourmet touch to our outdoor and indoor spaces with just the right dose of timelessness: Gingerbread, Pesto and Marshmallow.

In terms of new products, we will present the Bistro folding bench, directly inspired from our iconic chair and a perfect product to promote conversation and shared moments of contemplation. We will also have Hoopik, a wireless table lamp with a sculpture-like shape and an ethereal design.

What are you looking forward to the most at Design Show Australia?

To see the sparkling eyes of visitors when they walk by/stop by our stand and discover our colours and products.
