As the countdown to Design Show Australia 2026 begins, we’re spotlighting exhibitor Naaya Studio. Bridging the gap between ancient material and contemporary design, the studio crafts lights that bring an undeniable warmth, rich texture, and strong architectural presence to modern interiors. Read on to discover their current design trends, and what you can expect to find at their stand.
Can you give us a brief introduction to your brand?
Naaya Studio is a global ceramic lighting brand creating sculptural, handcrafted lights for contemporary spaces. We transform clay into refined forms that bring warmth, texture and a strong architectural presence to interiors. Our work is used across residential and hospitality projects in 30+ countries.

What differentiates your brand from other competitors in the market?
Our strength is material-led flexibility. Ceramic allows us to offer 300+ designs, multiple sizes, finishes and custom modifications without tooling constraints. Designers work with us as a creative partner, not just a supplier resulting in lighting that feels unique, tactile, and deeply human.
Are there any exciting trends that you are seeing in the world of design this year?
We are seeing a shift toward material authenticity, tactile minimalism, and statement lighting. Designers want natural materials like clay, warmer lighting and customizable pieces that define a space rather than just fill it.
What can our visitors expect to see and experience on your stand at Design Show Australia?
An immersive lighting experience featuring our signature ceramic forms, scale variations, and finishes. We will also showcase new sculptural designs and expanded size ranges tailored for architectural projects.
What are you looking forward to the most at Design Show Australia?
Connecting with architects, designers and partners who value material driven design. For us, it’s about building meaningful, long-term collaborations.
