Established in the Mediterranean and active in over 80 countries, Kave Home offers an extensive, sustainably sourced range of designer furniture with immediate availability across Australia and New Zealand. Read on to discover their current design trends, and what you can expect to find at their stand.

Can you give us a brief introduction to your brand?

Kave Home is a designer furniture and decor brand born in the Mediterranean, with a strong international presence across more than 80 countries. The brand arrived in Australia in 2021 and is now present both online and in physical locations in Brisbane, Sydney, Newcastle, as well as through partners in Adelaide, Darwin, Cairns, and New Zealand. With a warehouse in Melbourne and more than 1,200 products in stock, we can offer immediate availability across the country.

Kave Home is known for its quality, Mediterranean-inspired designs, and commitment to working with natural, responsibly sourced materials. The Mediterranean is at the heart of both our designs and our way of understanding how people live in their homes.

What differentiates your brand from other competitors in the market?

Kave Home’s point of difference lies in its origin. As a Mediterranean brand, it brings a unique perspective to the Australian market, shaped by a way of living that prioritises light, materials, and the relationship between space and everyday life.

This origin is not just a story, but a way of working. With in-house design teams in Spain and full control over the creative process, each collection follows a clear and consistent vision from concept to final product.

The result is designer furniture that combines aesthetic clarity with purpose, supported by quality materials and a level of craftsmanship designed for longevity.

Are there any exciting trends that you are seeing in the world of design this year?

There is a growing focus on quality and longevity; people are becoming more intentional about how they want to feel in their spaces, which aligns very well with our vision of how we understand “home”.

There is a clear appreciation for pieces that stand the test of time and evolve with us through different life stages. This is reflected in the use of noble materials, rich textures, balanced proportions, and thoughtful forms. Organic shapes, particularly in sofas and armchairs, help create a sense of flow within a space. There is also a strong trend towards mixing materials, such as steel and wood, to create contrast between warmth and coolness.

Colour palettes are also shifting, with tones like sage green, taupe, and chocolate brown encouraging a sense of presence and grounding us in the physical moment. These colours, rooted in nature and earthy tones, are timeless and bring a lasting sense of balance and authenticity into the home.

What can our visitors expect to see and experience on your stand at Design Show Australia?

At the stand, visitors will discover a new design direction inspired by Mid-Century aesthetics, expressed through a curated selection of materials, textures, and colours.
The Veliro sofa in green velvet is a key piece on the stand. Its curved shape works well in open layouts, while the soft velvet upholstery and slim black steel legs keep the design balanced and easy to integrate. The green tone sits naturally within earthy palettes. The Tarsel coffee table combines tempered glass, walnut veneer trays, and a brushed stainless-steel frame. The movable trays add flexibility, making it suitable for both residential and hospitality use.

Another highlight of the exhibition is an exclusive sneak peek of the new outdoor collection, giving visitors the opportunity to see the upcoming release before anyone else. The collection introduces new formats and design directions, offering greater flexibility to adapt to different outdoor spaces.

Overall, the stand showcases a curated collection of designer furniture, emphasizing quality, materiality, and durability for long-term use. These pieces are designed to integrate seamlessly and make a strong visual statement across diverse environments, including residential, hospitality, and commercial settings.
