Can you give us a brief introduction to your brand?
Koala is an award winning Australian company that transforms the way people experience sleep and rest. What differentiates your brand from other competitors in the market?
We design our products from the ground up, innovating to address real customer needs and redefining entire product categories. Our product design process starts with a problem or customer pain point, then with the customer’s perspective at the forefront, we smash our brains together to discover novel, innovative solutions which balance form, functionality and sustainability. With an average of 1.5 years devoted to the design and development of each product, we ensure it’s flawless when it reaches your home.
Are there any exciting trends that you are seeing in the world of design this year?
Bold but earthy tones and textural, tactile fabrics that are taking over rigid minimalist and stark whites and beiges.
What can our visitors expect to see and experience on your stand at Design Show Australia?
We are excited to showcase our range of innovative furniture that is designed in house in our Global R&D centre in Sydney. Our team meticulously design our entire range including our upholstery fabrics from the ground up so we are very excited to share our range at Design Show. One of the pieces we will be exhibiting is our Torquay sofa which is definitely a crowd favourite with its rich warm tones, deep generous seats and design forward style.
What are you looking forward to the most at Design Show Australia?
Connecting with the industry is undoubtedly the highlight of any exhibition for us. It provides a valuable chance to engage with both suppliers and prospective clients, ensuring we always have our finger on the pulse and stay in tune with the latest industry developments.
