I’m a Fashion and Object (Jewellry, Ceramics and Furniture design) design student, inspired by the natural world that informs my design decisions. With a focus of tactile making in my practice, I appreciate slowness and intricate craftsmanship across a range of different mediums and practical skill sets within my work.
Inspired by the natural phenomenon of Bioluminescence, harnessing the power, beauty and mystery it beholds. I explored a unique colour palette through rust patina on copper to mimic a bluish/green surface finish. The organic shape of the light piece embodies the ripple-like movement of water reflections.
