Andrew Barber is a Melbourne-based engineer and designer. I bring a holistic approach to product design, balancing technical expertise with aesthetic sensibility to create pieces that blend elegance with practicality across furniture and lighting.

Grove is a side lamp and wall sconce hewn from a single piece of Tasmanian oak with a hand carved naguri pattern. A bent aluminium base grounds the form, while Japanese paper diffuses the light into a soft ambient glow. The timber’s natural geometry does the rest, casting strong beams up and down, warm and deliberate.
