Lucy Sharman brings more than 25 years of experience in sustainability across government, the private sector and not‑for‑profit organisations. She is Director of Strategy and Sustainability at Landcom, where she leads strategic work to deliver affordable, low‑carbon housing, nature‑based solutions and climate‑ready, well‑connected communities.
Throughout her career, Lucy has focused on practical, evidence‑driven approaches that integrate strong environmental performance with social and community outcomes.
As a state‑owned corporation, Landcom has taken a leadership role in decarbonisation and climate governance. This includes mandating no networked gas in Landcom developments since 2021 and voluntarily reporting on climate‑related financial disclosures since 2020. In December 2025, Landcom adopted its first Net Zero Transition Plan, setting out a clear pathway to achieve net zero by 2050 across all emissions.
Lucy’s work is centred on embedding these commitments into the delivery of high‑quality housing and places that meet the needs of communities today while responding to the challenges of a changing climate.
