
As a designer, I enjoy rethinking familiar objects through a balance of conceptual curiosity and practical refinement. I gravitate towards unconventional ideas, exploring new ways people interact with everyday products, shaped through hands-on making, iteration, and detail-focused problem solving, with sensitivity to user experience, materiality, and real environments.
Inspired by ancient Chinese architectural structures, “Moon Gate” translates the symbolic moon gate walls into a sculptural stool. Dual openings frame two different perspectives, where clouds and window lattice trade places as the viewer moves, echoing the spatial transition between indoors and outdoors.
